Dr. Tushar Nikalje gets awarded by University in Thailand
Shinawatra University in Thailand has selected Dr. Tushar Nikalje, a retired non-teaching staff from Pune, for “Best Contributor Award” under Indo-Thai Pride of Education Award.

While serving as a non-teaching staff at Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune for 32 years, Dr. Tushar Nikalje completed his M Phil, Ph D education.
Till date he has published 84 articles in newspapers, weeklies, magazines, University Grants Commission approved research journals, 14 books have been written and published. Two of these books are recognized as reference books for B.A. and M.A. courses of the some universities and three autonomous colleges in Maharashtra. He has written and published a Braille English book for the visually impaired, Understanding the University. This book has been recorded in the India Book of Records.
Awards and recognitions
Dr. Nikalje has retired in March 2022. But even after retirement, he is busy with academic and research activities. He has written and published three books and 14 articles in the last two years. In the year 2023, he is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as a writer and editor. Two documentary films have also been screened. The documentary “Clerk to World Record Holder” has been recorded in India Book of Records and Bravo Book of International Records, Sharjah.
He has participated in national and international seminars and presented research papers till date. His proposals regarding administrative reforms have been submitted to the Government and the Election Commission. Some of these proposals have been tested by the Election Commission on an experimental basis. Even after retirement Dr. Nikalje is working in educational and research as well as social work. Till date Nikalje has received 15 academic and research awards from Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan, Sharjah, World Record University, London, America, Chennai, Guinness Book of Records, London etc. Dr. Nikalje has done all the work of higher education, research, writing and publishing books and articles at his own expense.
In recognition of Nikalje’s higher education and research work, Shinawatra University in Thailand has selected him for the Best Contributor Award under the Indo-Thai Pride of Education. In the program to be held in Thailand on 29 May 2024, Dr. Nikalje has been requested to attend.
On this occasion, Dr. Tushar Nikalje said, “If you do the right work, you get the recognition. I have faith and trust in my work. I believe that my journey of education and research will inspire the future generation. Everyone should strive to increase the reputation of our country”.
