Mithron India and Quanthexa Partner to Boost India’s Drone Economy Vision 2030
Hyderabad, January 26, 2026 – A new strategic franchise partnership between Mithron India Smart Services Pvt Ltd and Quanthexa Pvt Ltd aims to accelerate India’s ambition to become a global drone economy hub by 2030.

The collaboration was announced at a launch event in Hyderabad, where a 1,500 sq ft showroom opened in Asian Sun City Building, showcasing cutting-edge drone technology in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana region and Global Engineering services.
Mithron’s mission is to build India’s first and only drone aggregation and pilot-management platform, providing affordable, one-stop drone solutions across all sectors – agriculture, logistics, infrastructure, and public safety.
Founder and CEO Rajesh Krishnan said, “Our multi drone platforms are designed to make drone sales and services accessible and cost-effective for every user, from large enterprises to small farmers. By integrating multiple drone types and offering a seamless booking system.”
Quanthexa Pvt Ltd, founded by Mr. Bharat Kiran, former Boeing Engineer and Mr. Kalyan NRK , brings deep Product development and project management expertise in Aero, Automotive and Industrial system design to the partnership. The founders highlighted the growing opportunities in the aerospace sector, noting that their experience in aircraft design and systems integration positions them to deliver advanced aero-solutions alongside drone services.
“Our background in Boeing and Engineering Services gives us a unique perspective on End-to-end Project management, Maintenance Repair and Overhaul ( MRO) , safety, reliability, and scalability. We are combining this with indigenous drone technology to serve the burgeoning demand in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, especially in agriculture and infrastructure monitoring,” said Mr. Kiran.
The showroom launch attracted a diverse crowd, including a young student who purchased a DIY Make in India drone during the inauguration. The purchase underscored the rising interest in drone technology at school and college levels, a trend seen as critical for building a future-ready workforce.
“Seeing students eager to get hands-on experience with drones shows the need to integrate this technology into education. It will create a pipeline of skilled pilots and engineers for the sector,” Rajesh Krishnan added.
The partnership aligns with the Government of India’s Drone Vision 2030, which seeks to establish the country as a global hub for drone manufacturing and services.
By combining Mithron’s extensive pilot network and platform capabilities with Quanthexa’s aerospace expertise, the two companies aim to drive innovation, increase accessibility, and foster economic growth in the region.
The new showroom will serve as a Sales, troubleshooting and training center, offering live demonstrations, pilot certification courses, and after-sales support. It will also act as a hub for local startups and entrepreneurs looking to leverage drone technology for new business models.
Looking ahead, both companies plan to expand their footprint across South India, with additional showrooms and service centers in key cities. They also intend to collaborate with academic institutions to introduce drone curricular, Center of Excellence , further embedding the technology into the educational ecosystem.
