Now it’s the time to name the five books.
5 must-read books for aspiring entrepreneurs in 2021
1. Poor Charlie’s Almanack: The Wit and Wisdom of Charles T. Munger
If you know “Warren buffet” you will surely know the business partner “Charlie Munger” this book is like a diamond that has financial wisdom in form of Munger’s speeches and essays.
Business and psychology are two folds of this book which can also divided in these three:
- Biography of Charlie Munger with short notes and references explained.
- Written notes of lectures given by Munger during different stages of his life.
- The checklist talks of mental models and the psychology behind every model and ‘antidotes’ he found that helps to control influences caused by each of these models.
2. Deep simplicity: Bringing Order to Chaos and Complexity
This book is from “Charlie Munger’s” bucket list, the vice president of Berkshire. This book’s aim is very simple we all know that it’s very hard to understand each and everything and the solution this book gives is if you can’t understand something you must give the work to the person who understands it.
This book is more of an intellectual ride which gives the basic assumptions of life a twist that will bring a rare understanding of the simple processes of life.
3. Benjamin Franklin by Isaacson Walter
Elon Musk, we all know how powerful this name is. The man who is now trying to build humankind a new planet. Musk never failed to describe Benjamin Franklin, one of the most accomplished inventors and the founding fathers, as one of his heroes.
This book is about a man who has a wide range of interests. He gained renown as an author, printer, scientist, civil activist, and diplomat.
It is a biography of a colonial American, he was very talented in his time and beyond.
4. The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein
This book was admired by our Indian hero “Ratan Tata” sir. We know how much he loves dogs, it’s a book of heart-wrenching but deeply funny and ultimately uplifting story of family, love, loyalty, and hope narrated by a dog.
I feel when one of our own hero admired it why not give it a try and grasp all the lessons.
Dog as a narrator isn’t this fascinating, Who wouldn’t read this book?
5. Business Adventures by John Brooks
This book gives an understanding of both sides of business i.e. why businesses are successful and why they fail, as an entrepreneur one should know both sides of the coin.
This book was a suggestion by “Bill Gates”. It gives life to twelve classic and timeless tales of corporate and financial life in America.
These were all the best I could have found for one to read, these books not just read by entrepreneurs only but could be read by any person.
Reading can never go out of fashion, read a book feed your mind.
