BigBasket appoints Arpit Jaiswal as its Chief Growth Officer to Drive Profitable Expansion
In a strategic move to sharpen its focus on sustainable growth, bigbasket, a Tata Group enterprise, has announced the appointment of Arpit Jaiswal as its new Chief Growth Officer (CGO).

In his new role, Jaiswal will spearhead growth initiatives across product development, user acquisition, retention strategies, and market expansion. He is expected to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance customer engagement, improve monetization efficiency, and scale bigbasket’s footprint across both urban and emerging markets.
Jaiswal brings significant experience in growth strategy and product leadership from his previous stint at Google Pay. As Head of Growth and Group Product Manager, he led large-scale user acquisition initiatives through strategic partnerships and AI-driven interventions. He also played a key role in managing operational expenditure and optimizing profit and loss for India operations, while contributing to product strategy, including rewards-led growth and improved unit economics.
An alumnus of Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, Jaiswal is widely recognized for his ability to scale consumer platforms with a strong focus on efficiency and innovation.
