Interview with Blogger Ekta from Tia Says
Can you tell our readers about yourself and your blog?
Hey there! I’m Ekta Swarnkar, and I am an author at Tia Says where I publish blogging and money-making tips. I love to try new tricks, blogging tools, and resources on my blog, and then I publish these tricks on my blog so that my readers can benefit from them.
So if you want to learn amazing blogging tips like this, I’m your gal!
I’m currently living in Lucknow, India, with my parents and I am a graduate student. Yes, I’m 21 years old.
I have been blogging since two years and in these 2 years I have learned a lot about blogging but I still feel there is so much to learn.
If I can be sure of all the things that has happened in my life, I think blogging is the best of all.
How will you introduce yourself in three words?
Well, that’s a tough one but if I had to introduce myself in three words I would say I’m helping, passionate and smart.
Describe how you first get into blogging?
I have always been a book lover and that’s how I found about book reviewing. I worked as a book reviewer for a few months then I started my book blog where I published book reviews.
That made me realize that I can start my own blog and make an online presence with that Tia Says was launched.
How do you motivate yourself to keep the blog up and running?
I don’t basically need to motivate myself to maintain my blog because the one thing that I can be completely sure of is that I love that I am running a blog.
But not every day is the same, I had found a way out of that and that is to divide monthly goals and then daily goals.
That way I don’t have any “big” targets that I may not want to do.
What’s the hardest part about blogging for you?
The hardest part of blogging for me to get people to read my blog posts. I started from scratch and I knew nothing about social media marketing.
Then I learned some tricks but I was still hesitant to showing up to public. I felt that my blog posts were not that great.
I guess that was the one thing that I had to remove from my mind.
What do you think is the best strategy that worked well for you to get more traffic to your blog?
I can think of two great ways that helped me gain traffic to my blog. First, joining Facebook groups and participating in weekly threads.
I had made friends who share my blogs, and I share theirs.
Second, joining Twitter and tweeting consistently. Twitter has helped me grow my blog traffic. Also, it helped me get awesome collaboration opportunities to get in front of new people.
In the future where do you hope your blog will take you?
I started my blog with a hope to generate a full-time income from it.
But now I want more. I want to help new bloggers to start their blogs and achieve their goals. And also I want to make full-time income.
Would you encourage other people to make their blog?
Yes, that is my one of the goals. I want young people to start their blogs and make money from it so that they don’t have to worry about paying college depts.
A lot of people think that blogging is an easy way to make money online. Do you have some tips for those people who are interested in making money from the blog?
Blogging is easy but for people who have learned how to do it to generate profits.
I think the best way to grow your blog and to make money from it is to go slow.
I always believed that “blogging is not a get quick money game”. It is more of “you have got a lot of amazing things to learn why not learn them at your speed?”
You can easily learn great things in a day if you focus on a few and you won’t learn new things in a day if you would go for many things in one time.
Of course, blogging is amazing but only when you are truly enjoying the process of learning.
What are your thoughts/feedback about TechnoVans.com?
I think TechnoVans is doing a great job. I am glad to be a part of the TechnoVans community.
I discovered about TechnoVans on Twitter. Since then, I have been reading and following Vanesh’s blog posts and they are truly informative and helpful for me.
What are the TOP THREE blogging tips you will share with our readers?
My top three tips for beginners are to.
- Learn Social Media Marketing.
- Learn SEO.
- Focus on creating quality content.
And don’t expect to see quick results. Trust me, I have been there. All of this works!
