HealthQuad leads funding round to support Cureskin‘s mission of providing quality skin and hair health solutions
Funding News: Cureskin, an AI-driven dermatology platform offering clinically validated skin and hair health solutions, has successfully raised $20 million in Series B funding. The round was led by HealthQuad, a prominent digital health-focused venture capital fund in India. Existing investors, including JSW Ventures, Khosla Ventures, and Sharrp Ventures, also participated. This latest investment brings Cureskin’s total funding to $26 million, enabling the company to further its vision of expanding access to high-quality dermatological care throughout India.
Addressing the significant shortage of qualified dermatologists in the country, Cureskin aims to bridge the gap by leveraging AI technology to scale the reach of dermatologists. Through its mobile app, Cureskin has already treated over 1.5 million customers, predominantly in Tier 2 and 3 regions, for various skin conditions such as acne, hyper-pigmentation, post-acne issues, and hair loss.
Guna Kakulapati, CEO and Co-founder of Cureskin, expressed his delight at securing the support of HealthQuad and existing partners. He emphasized the growing demand for accessible expertise and quality care to address skin and hair problems in India.
