Quantometrica international startup studio has held the first presentation of its business in Moscow
May 30, 2019, Moscow. Quantometrica international startup studio has held the first presentation of its business in Moscow together with co-founder and CEO of the global Tokyo – based incubation hub EdgeOf Inc, Tajsuke Alex Odajima.
During the presentation, Quantometrica’s Strategic Advisor Konstantin Velikotsky introduced key areas of the studio’s work, which are: creating and launching international startups in IT, IoT and Big Data; digital consulting for corporate clients and development of IT-solutions for enterprise customers. Based in 2017, Quantometrica has representatives in Moscow, Kiev, Tokyo, Shanghai and Limassol. It´s team consists of specialists in IT, web development, marketing, PR and digital communications.
As a part of his speech, Konstantin Velikotsky presented the first startup of Quantometrica – a cloud-based graphic IT-infrastructure designer Miraworks. Miraworks platform enables automatization of such time-consuming and routine task of IT-specialists as checking the technical compatibility of hardware from different vendors. Automatization becomes possible due to creation of a single database of hardware specifications. Such database allows IT-specialists to check compatibility of network equipment without having special knowledge about hardware of each particular vendor. In addition, Miraworks has a graphical design tool that allows creating complete configuration of IT-solutions: from technical task to detailed technical design, operational documentation and calculating cost of specifications from different vendors. “Miraworks will first of all be useful for large private and state-owned companies, interested in optimizing the work of their IT-departments and cutting costs for staff certification. It will also be helpful for self-employed IT-specialists who would like to have a convenient and inexpensive tool that would expand the range of their services,” explained Velikotsky . “The roadmap of the project implies creation of the first MVP version and test launch in the markets of Russia and Ukraine by the end of 2019,” he said.
Co-founder and CEO of the global hub EdgeOf Inc. based in Tokyo, Taisuke Alex Odajima became a special guest of the presentation. He told the attendees about acceleration programs of the hub and the opportunities provided for the launch of foreign startups on the Japanese market. On May, 24, Quantometrica and EdgeOf Inc. signed a strategic partnership agreement, implying joint acceleration and relocation of startups at the markets of both countries. Speaking about special features of the Japanese start-up ecosystem, Odajima stressed that “A significant proportion of investments to startups in Japanese market comes from corporate venture funds of private companies. Due to the market specifics, startups from such fields as automatization, robotization, artificial intelligence, services for the elderly and disruptive technologies have the highest chances to become successful in Japan.”
