What I love about this Bloggers Interviews series is the honesty of the bloggers when they share their blogging journey with TechnoVans readers. So, let’s don’t waste a time and know the blogging journey and blogging tips shared by Lomash Kumar, Indian Tech Blogger.
1. Can you tell our readers about yourself and your blog?
Hello everyone! My name is Lomash Kumar, and I’m the founder of PandaMakingMoney.com.
My blog focuses primarily on these topics: How to Make Money Online, Blogging Tips, Affiliate Marketing, and Pinterest Marketing. The story behind starting a blog on these topics is quite long.
My journey began in the summer of 2018. At that time, I finished my college exam of the second year, and there was a three-month gap to start the next batch. I had this long period of free time, and I wanted to use it to extend my knowledge. So I decided to learn some new skills that would help me in the future.
Let me tell you one thing about myself, that I am very interested in those things which are related to technology, computer, and the internet. And that’s why I have taken lots of online courses that are related to those things. I know multiple Programming Languages, Graphic Designing, Cyber Security, Computer Hardware and Networking, Digital Marketing, etc.
Now to the story, I decided to learn some new skills. At that time, there was a hype going around about Digital Marketing, and I’m clueless about this thing. So I made up my mind to learn Digital Marketing that summer.
I took a few courses on this theme, and one of them is The Fundamental of Digital Marketing by Google Digital Unlocked.
After completing this course, my interest was growing more towards digital marketing. So I started learning more related things like how to make money online, Affiliate marketing, Social media marketing, etc.
So, this is the reason for choosing those topics to blog about it.
2. Describe how did you first get into blogging?
The answer to this question is quite funny because I was far away from blogging. Starting a blog wasn’t my idea, it was from one of my closest friends. We were discussing starting an online business, which helps us financially. Because at that time, I had a corporate job, and I wanted to invest my saving in creating a side hustle for me. For sure to become financially independent in the future. We were discussing what options we have, and then she suggested to me why not start blogging. I thought about it and said, “Yeah! That’s a good idea.”
I’m not an intentional blogger who planned everything before starting a blog. I’m an accidental blogger. I did a little bit of planning, and I was very much familiar with WordPress. So I purchase the domain and hosting.
I launched my blog in January 2020. It took me a couple of weeks to fully set up my blog with WordPress.
For a couple of months, I did blogging as a side hustle. Because as I mentioned above, I had a corporate job at that time. After that, I decided to do blogging full-time. So I quit my job and focusing on my blog.
One thing I want to include here is don’t quit your 9 to 5 job unless you get paid by what you are doing. I quit my job because I had some issues with it, and I had saved enough money to sustain my lifestyle for at least a year. Blogging isn’t free, you have to pay for hosting, tools, and other related things. So having financial support is very important to run a blog.
3. How do you motivate yourself to keep the blog up and running?
I would say, motivation is required once in a while. Because when you reach the saturation point of what you are doing, you start losing your interest in that job.
Blogging isn’t a short term game. It will take time to give you the results you want. So you have to be motivated and be patient.
In my case, I would like to watch some motivational videos online or listen to some stories that have a deep message. It helps me to be motivated and to keep doing my work.
4. What do you think is the best strategy that worked well for you to get more traffic to your blog?
The best strategy that worked well for me is my Pinterest Strategy. Pinterest generates traffic for my blog, which is more than any other traffic source I use. It has a huge potential to drive traffic on websites/blogs. Anyone can leverage it if they know the right tactics about this platform. I have several articles on my blog about Pinterest marketing that are helpful for those who want to drive traffic from it.

5. In the future where do you hope your blog will take you?
Honestly! I don’t know. I never thought about it. I’m not expecting too much from my blog. I am just going with the flow and telling myself, let’s see how it goes.
Hopefully, it will take me somewhere, where I can be able to pay my bills and sustain a lifestyle. Because the reason behind starting this blog is to be independent enough financially to maintain a healthy lifestyle. And that would be great for me.
6. Would you encourage other people to make their blog?
Absolutely yes!
I would encourage other people to start their blog. If anyone passionate about anything or they have knowledge about anything, and they can write about it. In that situation, I would strongly recommend them to start their blog. But before starting the blog, I would definitely suggest that they do some research first.
Research such as their blog niche has enough audience, how they can make money with their blog, how long it will take to make a decent amount of money, and what traffic source they will use to get visitors to their blog.
5. A lot of people think that blogging is an easy way to make money online. Do you have some tips for those people who are interested in making money from the blog?
As I mentioned above, blogging isn’t a short term game. This means that it’s quite difficult to make money with your blog in your initial months of blogging. It requires lots of time and hard work to get you the proper results you want.
So, according to my perspective is not an easy way to make money online. You can consider blogging as a passive income stream, where you put a lot of work in front, and it will pay you passively.
There are many ways to monetize a blog, such as Ads, Affiliate Marketing, Sponsored Posts, etc. But if you really want these monetization methods to give you some results, then you will need some sort of audience or readers for your blog. Because without traffic and audiences you cannot make money with your blog.

8. What do you think about my blog TechnoVans.com? What do you like about it and what improvements you will suggest?
Your blog is quite impressive because it has lots of categories, and creating content for all those categories is very hard. Another thing about your blog is that it is full of informative posts, and meanwhile, it also has a lot of motivational posts, which is amazing.
The improvement I would suggest is to increase a little bit of space between the ads and the text of your articles. Because sometimes text looks like part of the ad. This will help enhance the user experiences of your visitors, by showing them more flashy content.
